Vinyl top installation...tools for the job

Working the vinyl into the window channel

Rear trim in place

Hey Steve, this buds for you.
Offset shackles from Dr. Diff.
ESPO Hemi Springs

Thats a 10 inch tire on a 3 3/8 inch back spacing. With the offset I can easily fit a 12.5 inch tire on 10 inch rims using 5 inch back space.

8 3/4
2 coats of base and 6 coats of clear

Headlight buckets and headlights in place.
We are beginning the interior work. This is the back seat before. The cover was made out of black velour fabric.
Seat cover after. The cover was sewn in our basement, using a non-industrial sewing machine and automotive grade vinyl and thread, then stretched tight and hog-ringed into place.

The original wire harness is in pretty bad shape. A lot of the connectors were melted and insulation cracked due to the wires overheating
Main power feed burned through
I installed a 12 circuit hotrod wires kit. It's basically a GM style and color coded as such. It is also expandable but 4 circuits which I already did to include a line lock, electric fuel pump, fans and possible nitros kit.
fuse block installed
Wires were passed through the hole where the manual washer pump grommet fits. I have electric washers so this would normally been plugged
spiral wrapped
Original connectors were repinned incase some components can be replaced without the hassle of adding new connectors.
Everything works
I added a 70 style instrument cluster facia because I like the look better. I kept the rear defrost switch for the line lock. out of site out of mind
Back seat installed
Carpet and console installed
Don't get to thrilled on the engine it's not staying, just untill the bugs get worked out. It's an 88 cast 360 rebuilt to stock specs with the exception of a Mopar performance 340 cam, small valve J heads and with factory rated 8.4:1 compression. When I ran the numbers is was closer to 7.9:1. Should run on even the most watered down gas at the pumps.
The original battery tray, out cleaned and repainted.
I hid the ignition box under the battery tray. I didnt want to see that ugly ballast resistor and ECU mounted to the firewall. The ignition is a summit brand but is nothing more than a Mallory Hyfire 6AL painted black and rebadged.
Once the fan and radiator is in the box will be less noticeable
The mufflers installed, just need the chrome tips.
I installed an aftermarket pre-bent 2.5 inch exhaust. I even chipped the paint on my axle, I guess base/ clear isn't that durable.

New rims for the back. We managed to stuff a pair of 28X12.5's M & H's in there. The fronts are 4.5" wide and the rears are 10".
